Chapter 25 of 27 in Building VueScreencasts.com
Getting S3 credentials securely from API

We learn how to get S3 credentials securely from the API, so our Admin users can upload files directly.

Note: this only works if you have a limited number of Admin users that you trust to inform you if their machines get stolen or compromised.

If you want regular users or less trusted Admins to upload files directly, check out Amazon Cognito's Identity Pools/Federated Identities.
